It was a great success up at the Sports & Society Conference for the Bases Loaded Series. Couldn’t ask for more. Great crowd, fun conversations and awesome people. Plus got to hear Commissioner Bud Selig talk and hear some great baseball stories. It’s funny where design (or any other life path) will take you. I would have never guessed.

Good times.

SPORTS & SOCIETY CONFERENCE EXHIBIT

I was invited to have a solo show at the Sports & Society Conference this Summer. The show will be up in May & June of 2012 at St. Norbets College. The conference is taking place at Lambeau Field and St. Norbets College and will have Bud Selig (MLB Commissioner) and George Bodenheimer (Executive Chairman of ESPN) as the keynote speakers.

The reception for Bases Loaded was a success! Great turn out and all of the Chicago Hot Dogs were consumed.

There has been a great response to the show and it’s been invited to be included in the Big Ten Graduate Exhibition at the Big Ten Headquarters in the Chicago area, as well as to the Sports & Society Conference at Lambeau Field. Very happy about the response and look forward to seeing where it goes from here…

BASES LOADED SERIES HAS LAUNCHED!

The Bases Loaded Series website has gone live today. It’s been a few months in the making, but all 18 banners are designed and finished. I’m in the process of screenprinting the banners now. They measure 26″x40″ 2 color on wool felt with a 1″ felt border. The first exhibition of the banners will be from November 25 – December 1 at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
